What are the exact dimensions of the boat cover fabric rolls?
Our premium marine-grade fabric comes in standard 1.5-meter-wide rolls. Full factory rolls are 100 meters long, with standard packaging dimensions of approximately 150 cm x 20 cm x 20 cm and a weight of roughly 30 kg per roll.
Do I have to buy a full 100m roll, or can I buy smaller quantities?
There is no minimum order requirement at Smart Ikhaya. We supply both bulk 100-meter rolls for large-scale manufacturers and precision cut-to-length linear meters for specialized workshops, local upholstery businesses, and DIY projects.
What colors are available for the 155gsm marine fabric?

Is this fabric completely waterproof or just water-repellent?
It is a highly engineered, acrylic-coated woven polyester fabric designed to offer both excellent water repellency and waterproof performance under normal marine conditions. For complete weatherproofing, ensure your fabrication methods (such as stitching and seams) are properly sealed, as standard needle holes can allow moisture to seep through over time if left untreated.
Can this fabric handle continuous exposure to the South African sun?
Yes. This technical textile is UV-stabilized specifically to withstand intense UV radiation, preventing premature fading, tracking, and degradation from harsh Southern African climate conditions.
Do you offer heavier heavy-duty material options for boat covers, such as PVC?
Yes. While our lightweight 155gsm canvas is excellent for standard water-repellent storage covers, we also supply industrial-grade PVC for maximum waterproof durability, winter storage, and heavy-duty transport protection.
