Leather Processing & Storage

Made from high-quality buffalo hides using chrome tanning, Soetdoring is finished with a pigmented surface that combines durability with a refined texture. The leather is tested for rub fastness, flexing endurance, tear and tensile strength, colour fastness, and finishing adhesion to ensure consistent performance. Hides should be stored at 10-12% internal humidity and in a dry environment between 15-40°C, avoiding heat sources, over-stacking, and reactive packaging materials to preserve their natural properties.

Leather Care

To maintain its appearance and longevity, keep Soetdoring furniture away from direct sunlight and heat. Clean only with recommended leather cleaners and protectors, avoiding multi-purpose products. Treat stains promptly by dabbing with blotting paper and gently cleaning with a damp cloth from outside to inside, then dry and polish with a soft cloth. For domestic furniture, clean and re-protect at least every six months; for contract furniture, follow a regular maintenance program as needed.
